Mama CEO You’ve Got To Know!

Posted by: Maruxa | Comments (0)

Recognizing how each of us are wired, can absolutely impact the way we communicate with each other, find business employees and partners, and really “get” the other people in our life and they, in turn, understand us better too. Deb Ingino has been using and training others with the DISC tool for over 20 years, and created a space for more families and employers to grow stronger in their understanding of how they are wired to be able to be better parents, friends, employers, and build even more confidence in being the way they naturally are. I’ve had the privilege of meeting Deb in person in January and truly loved her insight and passion for helping others become aware of our own “wiring”. I highly recommend checking out her resources at www.MyWiredStyle.com. I’ve got a copy of her new book for children, The Discovery Adventure Club and have to say it is a fantastic resource for understanding our children better! I’ve started to see in my 17-month Ms. Cutie Pie how she’s wired because that book has started to help me see how to look at where she is even now and help encourage her in the ways she’s “wired”. Karen Bierdeman – The Guilt Free Mom (TM)

I’ve recently had a chance to meet Karen and love her spirit! As a parenting coach, she specializes in strong willed children. I love that she sees each child as being “wired” uniquely in the ways they were designed, instead of them being “problem” children. On her website, http://www.TheGuiltFreeMom.com she talks about her philosophy of parenting strong-willed children and how important it is to NOT blame yourself! Thank goodness, someone gives us permission to not be the ones to blame, eh? You can get to know Karen through her website or through Twitter, www.twitter.com/MomCoach

Ooh! I love this woman’s energy! She has tons of great information for those of you who are looking to get patents for your ideas. Top 100 Mama CEOs You’ve Got To Meet!

I’m continuing to share 2 more Mama CEOs, aka Driven Mom Entrepreneurs, who’ve inspired me one way or another – and I think you would like to meet!

Leah Higginbotham of HugaMonkey.com: I just met Leah recently through a recent search for Mom Entrepreneurs who had very sweet, funny and memorable Christmas stories for my new e-book Mom’s 12 Days of Christmas as part of the Merry Christmas Book package I created for the holidays- and her story had me cracking up! I decided to check out her products and saw she just launched a Live WebTV show – so I poked in and thought she truly was hilarious! Plus, she gave some really fun tips to the audience on how to use the HugaMonkey Baby Carrier, that she designed. She’s definitely a Mama CEO to watch for – lots of fun with tons of wisdom! I’m really honored to have met her and look forward to getting to know her better. You can find her on Twitter at http://twitter.com/HugaMonkey

Jyl Johnson Pattee of MomItForward.com: I had the pleasure of meeting this Mama CEO during my Successful Mamas Summit in September, and wow! I was blown away by her passion of creating space where women can change the world “one Mom at a time”. When I interviewed her she shared with me that to her, “Mom” is a verb, a word that describes women who are nurturers within their being. I love that definition and since meeting her and hearing her thoughts on life, love an d legacy, I’ve been moved by the way she leads her life and inspires and connects those around her towards that same mission in their lives. I’ve also started to adopt that same definition of “Mom” into my vocabulary! I really like how she put this term into use! You can find her on Twitter on Tuesday nights at her regular Girl’s Night Out events (#GNO) and specifically here: http://twitter.com/jylMomIF

Debbye Cannon, of BusinessMomMentor.com: This is a Mama CEO who helps me see that even in the midst of sleepless nights, tantrums, and writings on the wall, I can still know there is light at the end of the tunnel when things get insane! She has over 30 years experience as a parent and a business owner, and I am grateful for her wisdom, her tips to keep my business and home organized, and I truly cannot thank her enough!
