Posted by: | CommentsKaren Bierdeman – The Guilt Free Mom (TM)
I’ve recently had a chance to meet Karen and love her spirit! As a parenting coach, she specializes in strong willed children. I love that she sees each child as being “wired” uniquely in the ways they were designed, instead of them being “problem” children. On her website, http://www.TheGuiltFreeMom.com she talks about her philosophy of parenting strong-willed children and how important it is to NOT blame yourself! Thank goodness, someone gives us permission to not be the ones to blame, eh? You can get to know Karen through her website or through Twitter, www.twitter.com/MomCoach

{Momprenaire TV} Momprenaire Do You Know Your Power
Posted by: | CommentsHow to Know When You’ve Lost that “Lovin” Feeling For Your Business
Posted by: | CommentsHave you ever…
Found yourself TRYING to sabotage your business’ success by not accomplishing the smallest task to finish the job?
Wanted to jump out of your own skin to do anything BUT your work?
Realized you’re just doing the motions in your work but not really enjoying the journey?
Noticed that your significant other and your kids are frustrated at your frustration and how you take it out on them?
Believe me, I’ve been there too. I was there (and find myself there) when I find that my values, my goals, or my dreams are not aligned with what I am doing in any particular moment in time. Is it just me or is it that I am totally excited about something and then after the “honeymoon” wears off, that “lovin’ feeling” I had for that project is gone and it takes me so.much. longer. to get anything accomplished.

Here’s what I believe begins this trend:
1. We’re afraid of our own success. What IF we were to finish a task/project and is WAS successful, what would that mean for us? Would that lead to a change in income, lifestyle, my ideas, my actions?
2. We’re becoming aware of ourselves that something we’re doing does not connect with the gifts/talents/skills or passion that we have for this project/business/idea.
3. Your reason for pushing through obstacles and your own frustration isn’t connected to the core of who you are in a way that will get you through any obstacle that comes your way.
4. You’re desperately wanting to make your business work but it’s lost that lovin’ feeling and you need a getaway to get you focused on why this business is the one you have chosen to pursue.
Let me just say that even those who are in LOVE with their business have days where it doesn’t feel all that fabulous, all that fun, and feels like W-O-R-K, but though it doesn’t feel like the dream job we’ve wanted, it doesn’t mean that we need to give up on this opportunity we’ve taken to created businesses on our terms. It’s just that it needs a little tweaking.
We’re in the middle of the “It’s ALL About The Love” series, and if you’ve yet to register, don’t hesitate any longer – even though we’ve gone through 2 calls so far, you can still get the recordings for those two calls and get in for the last two – How To Love Your Family with Dr. Daisy Sutherland, and How To Love Your Business with me, Maruxa Murphy, MA.
We’ll be talking more about this topic – so if you have yet gotten the details for the call series, go here now: www.Momprenaire.com/love.cfm

Nancy Traversy of BarefootBooks.com
Talk about the LOVE for what you do – I so enjoyed reading Traversy and her business partner, Tessa Strickland’s story in Inc.com’s 2006 article that shows the power of pushing through. If you’ve never met Nancy, be ready to be inspired to live better no matter the excuse. Read their story here.
Tamara Monosoff

Ooh! I love this woman’s energy! She has tons of great information for those of you who are looking to get patents for your ideas. Actually, if you visit her website www.MomInventors.com you’ll read this, “Mom Inventors, Inc. is a dynamic company comprised of three key elements: consumer products with the trademarked Mom Invented® brand, an online community providing Information, Interaction & Inspiration, and educational offerings for women entrepreneurs produced by best-selling author, columnist and AOL Coach, Tamara Monosoff.”
Tamara is a wealth of knowledge and I absolutely enjoy the conversations and the training she provides her audience. If you’ve got an idea and want answers to figuring out how to get your idea into a physical product, you’ll definitely want to check out this website. You can also find her on Twitter at http://twitter.com/mominventors

Posted by: | CommentsTime Is On My Side! My Favorite Way to Make the Most of My Day
Posted by: | CommentsLately, many of my friends and colleagues have wondered how in the heck I am able to do what I do everyday – with a baby, working for David Frey at TelesummitEvents.com, and running my own successful company, Momprenaire.com. I was recently asked if I have cloned myself. Believe me ladies, I’m glad I look all “put together” but truthfully, it wouldn’t be like this if it weren’t for help.
And the coolest thing is… we all can have help!
I’m sharing a “secret” with you – you ready??
I use a timer.
Yep!
A timer.
Ta-da!!
Wait…what?
“That’s it?”
Yep! That’s my secret!

Kelly is definitely a Momprenaire who has built a great blog community for mommy’s who love dressing their children well. And she makes the fashions herself too. What I really like about Kelly is her uplifting personality and (well, her designs…they’re really nice!) It’s wonderful to see women building their brand based on what they are passionate about, and I see Kelly definitely doing this in throughout her website and her presence on Twitter. You can actually find her there at

Being good friends (finally!) with my mom myself, I know the power this relationship can have on all areas of life – personally and professionally.
